AWS Cloud Credits for Research Program

The AWS Cloud Credits for Research Program aims to help researchers harness the power of cloud computing. By providing AWS Promotional Credits, this program supports projects that seek innovative uses for cloud technology in research environments. Researchers can apply for credits to cover costs associated with eligible projects, facilitating cost-effective access to scalable computing resources.

  • Students may be awarded up to $5,000 in credits.
  • There is no fixed limit for faculty and staff applicants.
  • Eligible projects include building cloud-hosted science applications, performing proof-of-concept or benchmarking cloud usage, and conducting training or workshops on cloud research workloads.

AWS POC Credits

AWS provides Proof-of-Concept (POC) credits to to eligible projects, supporting pilots and early-stage research on AWS. Please reach out to us and we can schedule a meeting with our AWS Solutions Architect and Account Manager to see if they can grant POC credits.

NSF CloudBank and ACCESS Cloud Allocations

The National Science Foundation (NSF) funds commercial cloud usage for U.S. researchers through the CloudBank 2 program, supporting projects needing access to AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and more.

Google Cloud Research Credits
