Interactive Apps

Click on OOD Dashboard's Interactive Apps dropdown menu to display a number of browser-based GUI and server-dependent apps. This is an alternative to the traditional X11 GUI forwarding via external terminal.

Palmetto Desktop and any GUI applications open a browser based GUI. Web applications are native web apps that are designed to be used with a browser.

Bioinformatics Apps​

NF-Core pipelines can be launched directly from Open OnDemand. These pipelines do not have an interactive interface, but instead start a parent job which then launches additional jobs using the Slurm executor.

The following NF-Core pipelines can be launched in OnDemand:

  • fetchngs
  • rnaseq
